SENA and the government of Quindío signed an agreement to deliver 1.5 Million pesos in seed capital, an initiative that contributes to the process of economic reactivation in the region with the creation of 19 companies and the generation of 76 direct jobs.
Roberto Jairo Jaramillo, governor of Quindío said: “I have always believed that SENA is an ally of honor. SENA is an ally with experience that knows how to do things judiciously and takes care of every ¨Pesito” which is why we signed this agreement that will impact the dreams of the department’s entrepreneurs “.

$ 1.5 billion in seed capital will be delivered to entrepreneurs in the region

On his part, the general director of SENA, Carlos Mario Estrada Molina said: “We believe in the talent of the entrepreneurs of this beautiful department which is why SENA contributes to the creation of new companies and the generation of employment as an opportunity for economic reactivation”.
“My wife and I went from packing ourselves to having packing machines with European components, and this was only possible thanks to the impulse from Emprender Fund, which has a fundamental role of boosting any company.”
The new business plans may receive an amount of up to 80 million pesos each after completing a technical advisory route. They will have continuous guidance from the managers of the Business Development Center in Quindío during the phases of the process: orientation, formulation, formalization on the platform, and feasibility evaluation for the start-up of the business project.
