The Real Madrid Foundation, a non-profit institution that is part of the successful soccer team of the capital of Spain, joins the list of the National Apprenticeship Service (SENA) allies, in order to train instructors and apprentices of the Entity in the development of social values and soft skills through sports.

"Our Entity also develops a series of webinars focused on using education as a method for personal and social transformation, as well as to appropriate new neurodidactics tools, among other topics."

“The Foundation, which has more than 20 years of experience in the development of social sports projects, has a training model based on an innovative and pioneering methodology that seeks to promote values such as respect, teamwork, transparency and commitment to equality through sports. These values have an enormous affinity with SENA’s vision of training apprentices in a comprehensive manner with technical knowledge and socio-emotional skills”, says Carlos Mario Estrada Molina, general director of SENA
As part of the agreement 30 instructors from Antioquia and 14 more regions of Colombia are enrolled in a virtual program to get certified as “Coach in values of the Real Madrid Foundation” in addition, 90 apprentices from four different regions have participated in two workshops addressing topics such as respect and gender equity led by the foundation’s experts.
The values that are applied are similar to the way we comprehensively educate our apprentices, added to technical knowledge and soft skills.
“I am currently enrolled in a virtual program to get certified as “Coach in values” of the Real Madrid Foundation under an agreement with SENA, it has helped us develop the skills required to include values in a sports context, taking sports practice as a platform and a tool to reflect the rules, interactions and situations presented in our daily life which makes it an ideal scenario to develop those values.” Points out instructor John Fredy Laverde.
