Throughout five days, the Vaupes office received ten apprentices from Cauca, Boyaca, Santander and Cundinamarca regions in the audiovisual workshop “la Ruta del Jaguar”, in association with DOCCO, distribution and exhibition agency of Latin American cinema and partners of the strategy of cinema in SENA.
Omar Casas Cubides, one of the ten apprentices from the Vaupes office who also participated in the workshop, said: “This camp is a wonderful experience for us. Being able to share with apprentices from other regions and other facilitators help us to complement our audiovisual knowledge and to show part of our culture.”
This is a space where our apprentices receive training in story composition, technical image workshop, direction workshop, and technical sound workshop guided by international experts in the audiovisual sector. There, they also made new friends and exchanged unique experiences in their lives.
