An alliance between the Mayor’s Office and the El Porvenir Agricultural and Biotechnology Center will benefit more than 900 young people and the community of 30 villages located in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Lorica, Córdoba with technical and operative training programs in different areas.
“We are committed to continue articulating efforts with the Local Mayor’s Office to benefit more young people and the community of the municipality, generating more opportunities for them and their families” highlighted the deputy director of that center, José Nicolás Barrios.
"Entrepreneurs over 18 years of age located in this municipality, who have a business idea and meet the requirements of the Emprender Fund, may participate in this call."
For the local mayor, Jorge Negrete, “It is important to benefit the youth of Lorica in the rural area, where most people finish high school and have no opportunities to continue with their higher education.”
Those interested in both calls may apply with their projects between July 15 and August 30, 2021, through www.fondoemprender.com.
Entrepreneurship is also promoted
On the other hand, two restricted calls for the Emprender Fund were also launched in the department, one in alliance with the Government for $ 2,175 million pesos and another with the Mayor’s Office of Santa Cruz de Lorica for $ 900 million pesos, to promote the creation of 11 new companies, which promote 44 jobs in this municipality of Bajo Sinú.
