SENA’s digital transformation is an internal and external process that provides Colombians with pertinent services that prepare them for real-life challenges. It changes externally by implementing new face-to-face and virtual learning methods, updating training programs, and attention through technological communication channels.
For the SENA’s general director Carlos Mario Estrada: “The world as we know it is rapidly disappearing. For this reason, the institutions that train for work and human development must train integral human beings with knowledge and digital skills that enable our apprentices and students to access dignified, decent and stable jobs.”
for the digital transformation process, SENA has made alliances with leading technology companies: LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft, and Oracle, among others.

SENA is carrying out a profound digital transformation that responds to the real needs of the accelerated changes in the world.

Alliances that transform
During the digital transformation process, we have established alliances with online teaching technology platforms, among which are: LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Bosh, Lego Education, and with organizations that contribute to the modernization of training environments. Such as Samsung, Huawei, Siemens, Lenovo, LG, Festo, Mnemo, Renault, Ecopetrol, Challenger, Haceb, and other leading global and national companies.
Training for the future
Actions in this regard include the implementation of an LMS (Learning Management System) platform, which guarantees a learning experience with artificial intelligence. In addition, SENA renewed and updated its training catalog on topics related to Industry 4.0 and is working on the digitization of more than 100 training programs.
